:)I also love that this selector doesn't need to be plugged in and use up another one of my outlets.I guess my only problem with this is that it doesn't exactly go with the "decor", but I put it on a shelf on my entertainment center where there are other wires and game controllers, so it doesn't really matter so much for me. I want to play Wii. Whenever I want to watch a dvd or the tv, I turn the dial. Easy. I have a lot of electronics that require A/V cables in my living room (DVD player, PS2, Wii, etc) and it was always a pain to have to unplug and replug them in the back of the tv. This Sony Video selector, while not the prettiest to look at, made the job easy. Just turn the dial.
The real problem with the product is, however, that there is an unmistakable lag between the video and audio. when wires are coming out of all 4 sides of this thing you realize just how incredibly unpleasant it looks. I was even ok with how bad it looked, but I think I'm going to go back to unplugging my AV cables each time i want to switch systems.I am using this splitter with a Samsung HDTV, and the TV does not have this problem when I am not using the splitter.Spend a little more money and buy a better splitter. I bought this so that I could hook up 3 different systems to my TV easily. I was not overly concerned with the way the product looked, so i was willing to overlook its obvious design flaws. When it arrived I hooked it up. This is a fault I can not overlook.
Clear description and a shipment with no problems. This was a perfect deal. Communication was not a problem.
Simple yet does what it needs. Great little device to switch between inputs. Feels a little "flimsy" in design is the only negative.
Works very well. Perfect for what I needed it for, and not a bad price either. I bought this a few months ago in order to use both my PS2 and my new XBox 360 on the same TV. I love that you can just twist the nob for the system you are using.
